Outpatient Services
The department handles around 3500 outpatients per month. Cases seen usually are CAD, heart failures, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart diseases, endomyocardial fibrosis, congenital heart diseases among many others. Outpatient cases are seen every monday and thursday in the first floor of superspeciality block.
Non-invasive diagnostic services
Non invasive diagnostic cardiac services like ECG, TMT, Holter analysis, echocardiography ( TTE, TEE, fetal echo, contrast echo, stress echo) are done on all days on appointment basis.
Inpatient care
The inpatient wing takes care of the patients with various cardiac illnesses including CAD, heart failure, arrhythmias as well as elective patients (pre and post cath).
ICCU facilities
We have a well equipped modern ICCU with 14 beds and dedicated staffs. There is a seperate ICU for post cath patients with 9 beds.
Interventional Cardiology
State of the art digital cath lab with TOSHIBA/CANON supported by EP machine, IVUS, IABP caters to the deserving patients reqiring invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Academic
Daily teaching classes are conducted for DM residents and BCVT students including Case discussions, Journal club, interesting ECGs and topic discussions. The department highly values individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a thirst for knowledge.
